D14 Rally at Coulsdon Manor Hotel

The District Rally is the one opportunity when all the clubs in the District can meet the Association President.
This year on a sunny day in March, we welcomed Association President Heather Sheering to our gathering at Coulsdon Manor Hotel. Before the lunch, members were able to socialise while President Heather mingled and chatted to them in the bar.
The dining room was a colourful sight with the tables adorned with spectacular spring like floral displays created by one of District Chairman Pauline’s friends.
An enjoyable meal was finished with a slice of delicious cake, made by Pauline, representing 100 years of Inner Wheel Service.
Then followed the formal part of the Rally when greetings were given by the visitors, culminating in Heather’s presidential address. She outlined Inner Wheel’s achievements over the past year and her hopes for the future.
She was then presented with a cheque for her chosen charity, Arthritis Care.
The Rally was the highlight in the Inner Wheel calendar for Pauline and she ended the proceedings by proposing a toast to International Inner Wheel.
