“Well wrapped up and ready for action”

With permission from the Vicar of the Parish Church of St Mary’s ,one bright, dry Saturday morning Sutton-in Ashfield IW members (L to R)-Clare Stone, Lin Johnson, Joan Broughton. Sue Fensom, Carol Patterson and President Dodo Pearce planted bulbs to celebrate the Centenary of Inner Wheel.  100 Daffodil bulbs and 100 Iris bulbs were planted on the right-hand side of the churchyard just past the Memorial Gates.  Much fun was had trying to plant them in the shape of the Inner Wheel Logo, (with the yellow of the daffodils and the blue of the iris) and it will be interesting to see next Spring whether it was a success.
