D18 Southport Inner Wheel Member Elaine, accompanied by President Maureen and Secretary Dorothy, undertook a sponsored scooter ride around the Marine Lake and promenade in aid of Southport Offshore Rescue Trust (Southport Lifeboat). During the ride they stopped off at the Lifeboat Station where they were met by the Secretary of the trust – another Elaine – who was guest speaker at our September meeting. At the end of her very interesting and inspirational talk, Members gathered to congratulate fellow member Elaine on completing the ride – which she did in 100 minutes! Well done Elaine.
100 for 100 Camberley D14
In November Camberley club planted 100 daffodil bulbs. In March they visited their local Ukrainian Refugees Group and presented them with the tubs of flowering daffodils. They were delighted to receive the beautiful pots..
