For the 100th Anniversary, The Inner Wheel Club of Wellington decided to make a blanket of 100 squares, pictured with District Chairman Janet during her formal visit to the club. Such was the enthusiasm we produced two 100-square blankets and have sufficient squares left to make two single covers. The larger will be delivered to CR2EE (Christian Response to Eastern Europe) to be transported to Moldova and Ukraine, while the smaller will go to the Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia. It was a grand effort by all our members, some of whom picked up knitting needles for the first time in many years!
