100 miles walked by Maria Pincott D19

Maria Pincott of the Carnforth club set herself the challenge of walking 100 miles, in two weeks, whilst in the lake District. She wanted to raise funds for a Dementia charity.
She started the walk with her trusted dog and a Fitbit watch which would track her mileage. She walked up mountains, mini mountains and around lakes, setting off early when the moon was often visible and during her long walks, she would see it again later in the sky.
All in all, tough but enjoyable, the company of her little dog and the fact she was raising money for such a good cause spurred her on.
