100 for 100 – socks from the IWC of York

The Inner Wheel club of York, to celebrate the centenary of Inner Wheel they collected 100 x 4 = 400 pairs of socks, many brand new, to be donated to The Carecent Breakfast club for the homeless, unemployed, and those socially excluded members of society in the City of York.

President Linda Lacy said, “the simple gesture of giving a clean dry pair of socks makes those experiencing homelessness and in need feel supported especially this time of year”.
