100 for 100 Montrose challenges continue

Montrose Inner Wheel – District 1

November, members knitted 100 stockings in Christmas colours to sell at the local Christmas Market.  People were buying them to make Advent Calendars, decorate Christmas Trees and as Christmas gifts.

The money raised has been used to buy wool for residents of the local Care Home who like to knit items for the local nurseries.

December, members donate £100 to the local Community Trust to help provide a meal for people in need of support over the Christmas period.
