In support of ‘100 for a 100’ The Inner Wheel Club of Ilkley opted to put all their efforts into giving much needed support to a local Women’s Refuge, aiming to collect a hundred items in each of the categories on their ‘Needs’ list, and especially new toy and Christmas gifts for the children.

With the help of Family and friends we were able to hand over

127 – New Toys, Books and other Children’s Christmas Gifts  – plus everything needed for wrapping

200 plus – wide variety of tins, packets and dried foodstuffs as well as cleaning products and feminine hygiene items

350 plus ‘pre-loved’ items of clothes for women and children of all ages as well bedding and household item

£400 worth of £10 Asda vouchers -given to the women for buying essentials when they first arrive with nothing.
