March – A Margarette Golding Rose was planted by members to celebrate our founder.
A Silent Aucttion was held, 100 squares to donate 100 pennies in the hope of winning the prize, over £1400 was raised, a staggering amount.
April – A beautiful knitted blanket of 100 squares was presented to a local lady who was clebrating her 100th birthday.
May – 100 packets of sweets were donated to Ye Olde Worlde Sweetie Stall for Convention – raising money for Beat.
In November Camberley club planted 100 daffodil bulbs. In March they visited their local Ukrainian Refugees Group and presented them with the tubs of flowering daffodils. They were delighted to receive the beautiful pots..
New Malden club planted 100 pots of spring bulbs for sale at the International Rally and the proceeds went to the charity supported on the day, Street Child.
Marjorie Duncan of the Stirling Club has finished her personal challenge of speaking to 100 people she meets and explaining ’Inner Wheel’ to them. A great achievement Marjorie - and a great way to promote Inner Wheel. Way to go Marjorie!
