Along with members from Edgbaston Convention Club, we treated ourselves to a wreath making day. A successful and enjoyable day, topped off with mince pies and mulled wine

Charities We Support

Disaster Aid UK & Ireland

For the Inner Wheel year 2023-2024, the Redditch Club has chosen to support Disaster Aid UK & Ireland as our International charity.  We got started with fund raising in October, when Helen, our International Service Organiser, set herself a personal sponsored challenge to complete 400,000 steps in a month.  With the aid of a trusty treadmill and a fair amount of grit and determination, Helen achieved her goal, managing 400,684 steps in the month!  Thank you to everyone who sponsored Helen.

For our Christmas fund raiser, Helen provided a Bannatyne spa day experience voucher for a raffle,  which proved to be very popular, raising £110 for our chosen charity.

We continue other local, national and international charities, including endeavouring to help emergency charity requests.

LEAGUE OF FRIENDS, ALEXANDRA HOSPITAL, REDDITCH

This year we are supporting The League of Friends at the Redditch Hospital. We are delighted that one of our members is the Chairman of the Committee of Trustees and has given us a in depth talk about their work. Our aim is to raise funds as well as offering help by keeping the coffee shop garden in good order. Please see more information about this charity on their website lof-alex.co.uk
