Where do we meet?

The Denton Club is part of Inner Wheel District 5, chartered in 1947 and currently with 10 members. We meet at:

Victoria Park Community Centre, Denton, M34 3JG

When do we meet?

Meetings are held at 1pm on the first Monday of every month except August. If you are interested in joining us, please contact us via district5innerwheel@gmail.com.

Club News

On the 5th February we held a fundraising Potato Pie Lunch at the Victoria Park Community Centre.

We were supported by the families and friends of our members and also by District Chairman Diana, District officers, members of the Inner Wheel Clubs of Manchester and Marple and Goyt Valley and members of our Rotary Club.

The food was prepared and cooked by Nigel Gibson, husband of Club Correspondent and joint Treasurer, Liz.

Nigel is a fully qualified chef and catering manager – recently retired but still happy to cater for our Club functions. He was assisted by Bob, our Secretary`s husband, who helped to serve the lunch and the dreaded task of washing up.

After lunch we were entertained by guest speaker, Lesley Walker, who read her own humorous poetry. A happy event!
