Our Town

Montrose is known for having the widest High Street in Scotland. The town has a beautiful view of a tidal lagoon, Montrose Basin. It has an important commercial port for the oil and gas industry. Between the High Street and the beach, there is a lovely area known as the Mid Links with a mile of parks. There are also the golf courses, the main one being the 1562 Golf Links. Beyond the courses lies the magnificent beach which attracts swimmers, families and dog walkers.

District Chairman’s visit

District Chairman Annetta Anderson came to visit the club in October.  Sadly President Margaret  was unwell that evening but the members still enjoyed an evening of funa nd friendship hearing about Annetta’s chosen charity – MS Scotland and also about the Centenary Celebration Rally in May.

Coffee mornings

Regular coffee mornings are held in member’s homes

These are thoroughly enjoyed by members
