District 1 Celebrates Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Many of our clubs chose to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with parties and gatherings – other clubs planted trees as part of her Majesty’s Green Canopy –  see pictures  for a selection of what we have been up to.  A great many celebrations, of course, involved food – strawberries and cream were a favourite.  Although Caroline Jones went top heavy with a crochet crown – but I think  Aberfeldy out did us all however, by managing to get HRH and  Grandad Paddington to attend their garden party –  can you spot them?  Well done everyone!!
