On June 17th 2025 at the D5 AGM and handover meeting our new District Chairman, Hamida Adkins received the chain of office from retiring DC Sheila Salden.

Hamida has provided a welcome article that will be appearing on our home page shortly.

At the same meeting the D5 Executive Committee members for 2025-26 were confirmed. They are pictured here from left to right:

District Treasurer Gill Wilson, Past District Chairman Sheila Salden, Member of Council Helen Lamerton, Membership & Development  Officer Nicola Bramwell, District Chairman Hamida Adkins,

District Secretary Ann Wood, District International Service Chair Ruth Gunning and District Editor Pauline Harrison.

D128 – Newton & District support Orange the World

Members of Newton & District Inner Wheel club decorated a Christmas Tree in their local Church to promote Orange the World. Those visiting the church were very interested and keen to discuss the initiative.  

D20 – Weymouth Orange the World

D20 – Weymouth Orange the World

Members of Weymouth Inner Wheel highlighted the Orange the World campaign. They began their walk at Weymouth Jubilee Memorial. Wherever they went they were raising awareness of the need to eliminate violence against women and girls.
