D24 – Chelmsford Mildmay – Empower the Gambia

Inner Wheel Club of Chelmsford Mildmay has been busy continuing to collect well needed items for ‘Empower The Gambia’. Sue Read, Club Correspondent couldn’t join Jo Heaven this time, but all the donations are going to the schools this week. The women gardeners in Sinchu Njabo were delighted with the seeds. One box of plastic plates has been donated to the School Food programme in Sinchu Njabo as previously they had to serve lunches in two sittings due to lack of plates. Now it will be faster so more time for lessons. All the sponsor children in Sinchu Njabo Basic and Senior School received their Sponsor bags and some stationary items. Dinner Ladies at Kerewan Basic Cycle School are pleased with the plates too. The fabulous photos demonstrates so clearly how Chelmsford Mildmay IW supports the schools.
