Sian Lloyd, who recently kindly agreed to become a patron of the Inner Wheel Clubs in Great Britain and Ireland, is a well known face on BBC News programmes.

Sian started her career as a corporate lawyer based in London and Hong Kong before turning to journalism.  She started out in the BBC Wales Bangor newsroom, then moved to Cardiff where she presented the evening news programme.  She is now the Midlands Correspondent on BBC National News. She also presents BBC Breakfast at weekends and Crimewatch Roadshow.

Sian, who lives near Cardiff with her husband and young son Seb, balances work with motherhood and still manages to support various charities including The Prince’s Trust.

Sian knows all about Inner Wheel as her mother Anne has been a member of the Inner Wheel Club of Wrexham Erddig for many years and is a Past President.
